This page addresses the false teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. This is in no way an attempt to judge those of the Catholic
persuasion. There are many who love the Lord and have a deep desire to serve Him. However, they have been misdirected and pulled into
a system that will keep them from knowing all that God has for them, even to the point of never being sure of their salvation.
It is the hope of this author, if you are in the Catholic religion, that you seriously consider the information contained herein. That you take the bold step and come out from among them.
There is probably no other religion on earth as dangerous to the lost soul. It uses such 'Christian' terms as Jesus Christ, God, salvation, forgiveness, sin, etc. Because of its closeness to real Christianity on the surface, the world perceives the Roman Catholic church as the authentic, New Testament church. However, nothing could be farther from the truth. It gives the appearance of true Christianity, but those who really desire to know the Lord are, by its teachings, subtly drawn away from the Truth.
Over the centuries, Roman Catholicism has rejected the final authority of God's Word. It has accepted extra biblical sources as not only equal to God's Holy Word but of a greater authority. Those in the religion are systematically removed from the Word's authority and held to teachings that are other than salvation by grace through faith, into a system of works. One never fully knows what their standing is in relation to Christ. They can never be assured of their salvation, because they have been taught that salvation is gained by good works and maintained by good works.
The Catholic religion is saturated with images, symbols and icons, often to the disobedience to God's Word. The information below will clarify this religion's errors.
