ISLAM
Islam
is not only the second largest religion, but the fastest growing religion in
the world. It is a primary threat to all civilized societies on earth. There
are those in national leadership that project Islam as being a religion of peace.
However, nothing could be farther from the truth. Its premise creates bondage
to the individual and death to the soul. It was founded on a man named
Mohammed, who they call a prophet. He hated God, hated Christ, hated
Christians, and served a false god Muslims call Allah, who is not the God of
the Bible. The sword was the tool of evangelism as it is today.
Islam rejects all of the teachings of Christianity along with the Word of God,
the Bible. There is a saying that goes, "If you dance with the Devil, he
will eventually take you home." Those who believe they can rationalize,
appease, and accommodate those who have submitted their souls to Islam, will
eventually find themselves in their grasp. They will become captive to the
world of darkness, removed from any hope of God's saving grace.
Not all Muslims are evil. Many were born into a Muslim family, never able to
look outside their world. They remain in their environment out of fear, or from
a lack of knowledge regarding the truth. It is not this author's desire to
judge anyone in the Muslim religion. It is the hope of this author that one,
looking for a better hope, looking to be set free from the bondage they find
themselves in, will read this material, begin asking themselves the questions
necessary to cause them to consider the real hope that lies in a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. In doing so, the shackles of Islam will fall
away, and one will find themselves free in Christ now and for all eternity.
Islam is a religious-political system based on fear, intimidation, and bondage.
It is especially that way with women caught in its grasp. Let's look at some of
Islam's fallacies.'
NOTE: All authoritative references used by this author are taken from
the Bible, the only Word of God. No other work is recognized as inspired or
authoritatively equal to the Bible.
Myth: Mohammed was a prophet of God
Mohammed
was a self-proclaimed prophet. Having Christian roots, he was tolerant with
Christians until they refused to accept his self-proclamation of being a
prophet. Upon being rejected by the Christian community, he became hostile
toward infidels ... Christians. To this day, Islam has a hatred for Christians,
even to the point of putting them to death when opportunity presents.
Mohammed was not a prophet. He was a sinner like all men, needing salvation. He
chose to run from God, rather than turning to Christ for salvation. As is the
natural depraved nature of all men, Mohammed's took hold of him, all the way to
his death. With his hatred for God, he proceeded to invent his religion;
drawing supporters quickly, assembled armies, and began conquering others with
the sword.
Scripture tells us that Jesus was the last prophet. He was both
prophet, priest, and king. There have been no prophets since Him.
Myth: Mohammed did not die, but ascended to
Heaven
The
Bible is very clear concerning the demise of all men.
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
(Hebrews 9:27)
All men
die, and die once. No one escapes death. And, after death is
the judgment for all who reject the salvation offered by Christ's death on the
cross. Though not judging Mohammed myself, this truth applied to him as
well. This teaching of Islam is the fantasy of religious men.
Myth: The Koran (Quran) is the final
revelation of God
Islam
teaches the Qur’an to be the verbal book of divine guidance and direction for
mankind, and considers the original Arabic verbal text to be the final
revelation of God.
This is in direct contradiction to what the Bible tells us.
All
Scripture (Bible) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that
the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2
Timothy 3:16-17)
King
David said, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, That
I might not sin against You". (Psalms 119:11)
Men who reject God will reject His Word. They will proceed to produce their own
'works' in order to justify their behavior. Joseph Smith came up with the Book
of Mormon. Charles Russell, founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses religion came up
with the Watch Tower's New World Order book. And, Mohammed was no different. He
came up with the Quran.
There is nothing spiritual about the Quran. It is a book written over time that
instills hate, bondage, death, and points lost souls away from Jesus Christ's
true saving grace. It sits with no greater stature than all other books on a
library shelf.
For the
word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and
is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
The Bible says love your enemy. The Quran says kill him. The Bible says
salvation is a gift from God. The Quran says one must work to please Allah. The
Bible speaks of a personal God, whom one can talk to. The Quran knows nothing
about a personal God.
Only the Bible, God's Holy Living Word, is able to pierce the most hardened
heart, and turn one to Christ's saving grace.
Myth: Allah is God
Allah
of the Quran is not the God of the Bible. It is not the God of Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob. It is a false god that has its roots in pagan religions.
The God of the Bible is a loving God.
He who
does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8)
The
Quran does not present a loving, personal Allah.
God never changes.
"For
I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not
consumed, O sons of Jacob. (Malachi 3:6)
In the
Quran, Allah is constantly changing his mind. One of the tenants of the Quran
is that newer revelation changes or cancels out the older.
It is not
the intent of this author to bring a comprehensive discussion on Islam. The
subject is too broad for this work. A bank teller does not learn how to spot a
counterfeit bill by studying counterfeit money. He learns by studying the real
thing. The counterfeit will then expose itself.
If you are of the Muslim religion, take time to study the God of the Bible for
yourself. If you have to do so in secret, find a copy of the Bible and read the
New Testament for yourself. There you will find the Lord who loves you so much,
that He sent His Son, who died on the cross as payment for your sins. He is
willing to save you and give to you eternal life. He will set you free, put a joy in your heart and peace within.
Seek
the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
Set
aside what you have been told, seek the Lord with your whole heart, call unto
Him, and you will find Him, even His saving grace.

NOTE TO THE READER
Every
cult in the world has three things in common:
1. They
deny salvation by grace – one must work for his salvation
2. They
deny the priesthood of the believer – on cannot understand the Bible, so
someone else tells them what to believe. They cannot go directly to God, but
must go through someone else for confirmation.
3. They
deny the eternal security of the believer – They must work to keep their
salvation, once they perceive they have it.
Scripture
makes it very clear of the danger and severity of anyone that changes the truth
regarding salvation by grace and grace only:
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an
angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now
again, If any man preach any
other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
However,
it is our responsibility to pray for them, that they may come to the saving
knowledge of Jesus Christ, and remove themselves from this cult.
Remember,
a man will go to any length to keep from saying those three life changing
words.... “I have sinned”.
